Hi there! My name is Erika and I tend to have a lot to say.

I graduated with a BFA last year and worked as a graphic designer for over 3 years in a corporate setting while being in school. It was a lot of work but the good, challenging, and learning kind. When you sit in a gray cubicle, staring at your screen and doing something that you love but wondering why you're doing this, you come to a realization that you want to do something more. Little by little, you start to learn what sacrifices, fulfillment, purpose, and meaning are.

What I am walking toward is just as clear. I am a ‘glass half full’ kind of designer who believes that a brand is more than what you see, but also how it should work. It is a feeling, a promise, and a position in the world. I want to help brands create their position thoughtfully and communicate it in ways that make people see past the surface. Not just because it looks good but because it means something.

I want to do work that matters. And I want to do it with people who believe the same thing.

I thrive in spaces where not only ideas are shared, but stories too. Yes, I would love to hear what your favorite flavor of ice cream is because it tells me more about you than you think. When I am not designing, I am outside playing soccer or frisbee with my fiancé and our fur baby, spending time with the natural world, staying curious, or watching the NBA.
